Cindy, My parents stayed at CP last month and received a free upgrade to the Palace Tower rooms. My very finiky but lovable Mother enjoyed her stay there very much. I stayed there last year in the Palace Tower section and I too enjoyed the room especially the bathroom. I really love CP's pool area. There were not a lot of kids which is nice. Was there anything you wanted to know specifically? If you do decide to stay at Caesars, just make sure you stay in the palace tower section and call the hotel directly for a price quote. I received a better rate from Caesars than I did from hoteldiscounts.com.

Caesars has been my hotel/casino of choice for years. I recommend booking the cheapest room and then trying to upgrade upon arrival, a $20 to the desk clerk might do the trick. Just got this email yesterday, if the dates are right, this is a great deal:

"It’s going to be a sensational summer at Caesars Palace and we wish you were here with us!

Now is your chance to take advantage of $79 midweek rates and $129 for weekends during these select dates:

June 17-19 July 2-10 August 9-10
June 24-28 July 13-14 August 15-27
July 18-21 Aug 29-Sept 8
July 24-30

Let us help you plan your sensational summer,
please call Room Reservations at 800-634-6661
to confirm your stay.

This offer expires September 8, 2001
Subject to availabilty. Must be 21 or older. Price is per night, does not include tax and is non-commissionable. Management reserves all rights."

I just stayed there this week. Unfortunately, I didn't even think about upgrading. The room was a bit run down, but still - you're at Caesars, how can ya complain? The bathroom was great, as was the pool. I'd stay there again.
