Need Help - Baltimore - Crabs
Hi,
I need help with finding a good (and relatively inexpensive) crab place where they serve crabs in the shell possibly on brown paper and has some good beer.
Obrycki's used to be my go-to place, but they are now exclusively in airports -bummer.
I'll be staying almost at the end of E Fayette Street, no car.
Anywhere that I could get to by public transportation and walk a few blocks?
Much thanks for your help.

Which end of E. Fayette?
Cap't James Crab House is where you want to go - you want the outdoor crab house (which is great) and not the indoor "fine dining" (which is NOT).

Call to confirm hours/availability
It's about a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride.
VERY good crabs.
Strongly suggest you AVOID all of the "all you can eat" specials - they have a lot of filler items and always come with the smallest crabs.
INSTEAD, order Jumbos by the dozen (or 1/2 dozen) and get sides (if any) a la carte.
Beer options are "OK/good", I think Sam Adams is one of the options.

Great recommendation, bardo1! Captain James it is!
I'll be at the very eastern end of Fayette street, but will probably be at the Baltimore Art Museum, so there's a bus that goes almost to their doorstep from Charles Street. Then on return I have to take buses to Fayette Street. It'll work well.
Have only one day in Baltimore and it'll be a Sunday so will not have the all you can eat option anyhow. Will definitely order the Jumbo - they look almost as big as some of the smaller Dungeness crabs we have here on the West Coast.
Can't wait! Maryland crabs here I come!
Thanks so much for the recommendation! Just perfect!
