Need help: 3 day weekend (this coming weekend!) around Morgantown, WVa

My husband needs to go to Morgantown, West Virginia on Monday, April 20. My birthday is on Monday, so we have decided to make a long weekend of it. Is there a scenic place/great B&B/hotel near there or maybe it's in Morgantown. I don't know anything about the area. It can even be an hour's drive from there. We live in DC and will be heading from here early Saturday morning.

With being a short weekend, any scenic area with hiking would be great.

Sorry about the immediate need. My husband just let me know. Thank you for your help?

Never been to Cooper's Rock but these cabins look nice.

I'm sure there is some good hiking around there.

tomfuller, thank you! As it seems to happen when we arrange things around work this has already changed. I will keep this in my back pocket however until the time we really will need to go there.

You might want to keep this in your back pocket also:http://www.oglebay-resort.com/
We spent a weekend there and enjoyed the resort. However, I fell on an unsalted sidewalk and broke my ankle. Since it is owned by the state they are immune to paying anything. All of WV is that way. If it's a private place, different story...but anything owned by the state is immune to being responsible for doctor/hospital bills. Just good to know.
