Need budget lodging for 5 in London 2 nights - west end
Hello - this is my first post. My family of 5 (kids are 16, 13, and 12) are going to London West end for 2 nights - May 28 and 29, 2011. I am trying to find a place to stay either all in one room or 2 rooms next door for these 2 nights at or/under $500 for both nights. Preferably would like breakfast included. is it possible

A good place to stay which should fit your budget is the Travelodge in Covent Garden. There should be no problem with having adjoining rooms. They do double rooms (2 persons) and family rooms (3-4 persons) both at the same price.
I just searched using your dates and it comes up with a total price of 215 GBP per room. That may not fit your budget but it is a Bank Holiday weekend. Other Travelodges are offering cheaper rates that weekend, just go to the website and have a look.

There is also the Premier Travel Inn County Hall, but that's booked out - the website www.premierinn.co.uk - shows several premier inns coming up with over 400 GBP for those 2 nights but the one at Greenwich is 280GBP for 2 rooms.
I have also stayed at the delightful Cherry Court Hotel just down from Victoria station -

They have rooms from 65 for a double, 80 for a triple, and they even have a family room sleeping 5 for 120 GBP!
It is a small family-run place, in a decent street, and while it may be a bit on the shabby side it could well be great for you and your family. But they get booked up well in advance, so don't delay in emailing them with your dates.

...and now you should email the editors to ask them to remove this post entirely, since you've now double-posted the same post! Sorry your first post got you kind of turned around - at least it looks like you're getting some good responses on your newer post.
