Need advice on campgrounds in Tetons and Yellowstone

In Sept. we are picking up an R.V. in Jackson and spending 10 nights exploring the Tetons and Yellowstone for the first time. How much time to spend in each?
Any recommendations on campgrounds? We'd like to steer away from the R.V. parks and concentrate on more foresty campgrounds.
Most campgrounds do not take reservations, will we have difficulty landing a space each night?
Looking forward to your replies and advice!

Jackson Hole-Tetons=2-3 days. Yellowstone3-5-7 days, depends how deeply you explore. The big circle 3 days, more if you want to hike.Late Sept. can iffy as far as the weather, after Labor
Day we have never had trouble finding R.V. spots, however you should investigate when the State Parks close for winter.Good Luck.

Try Colter Bay Campground in the Tetons. Very pretty and woodsy. Not quite midway between Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. You could do both parks from there and they take reservations. They have a website. Search Colter Bay

Try Colter Bay RV park. We did both parks from there over 5 days. 10 days would be plenty. They have a website. Search Colter Bay.
