Need advice for first vacation after divorce

I am newly divorced but am getting back into the singles scene. I want to take a vacation to a singles resort or singles cruise or tour. Any recommendations?

Perhaps you would also find some good recommendations under the "solo traveler" section of this site - I haven't read the postings, but would imagine there should be many by people who have traveled "solo" as you are looking to do.

However, I have a recently divorced friend who had a fabulous time at a singles resort in western Mass - but I don't know where you live or are traveling from -

Club Med? I think they originally started as a singles club.

Tauck Tours must sponsor some very nice singles tours; they're pretty high-end.

Contact the cruiselines about singles cruises.

Have fun!

After my divorce, I sold my engagement ring to a local doctor and took my best friend to Cancun for 10 days. Twice.

We had a blast in March and in October when we went. I can highly recommend this.

Windjammer Barefoot Cruises has a singles cruise on their website. No luxury on the WJ cruises...but you WILL meet people and have a great time.

escargot- actually the Solo Traveler section is not very active here. Plus when people are talking about "solo travel", it most often means they want to travel alone... they are not looking for a singles club or trying to find dates.
