Need a map that shows restaurants

Does anyone know where I could download a map of DC that might show where some of the popular restaurants are? I found one in a book I checked out from the library and thought it would be helpful. I'm looking for places that aren't too expensive. We tend to wander around and just stop when we're hungry vs planning things out in advance. It's just nice to know what's near you and if it's a good place to eat. Any help would be great. Thanks a million as always.

You might try the washingtonpost.com restaurant guide and print out the listings based on neighborhood. Then, when you are hungry take out the list for the neighborhood you are in. It would be very tough to do an online map - for example some blocks in places like downtown, adams morgan, dupont or georgetown might have 20 restaurants on one block - that makes for a VERY cluttered (if not impossible) online map.

If you happen to be a member of AAA:AAA's TourBook Online guides give restaurant listings by location; each is listed on the basis of merit alone after being carefully evaluated by a AAA/CAA inspector or designated representative.

This is an article that appeared in the Washington Post last week. It has a listing of articles near The Mall (where the museums are). Hope it helps.

go to www.egullet.com for recommendations -(friendly group who will tell you exact locations and/or cross reference with Zagats which does include a map (of the top choices)

I used a Zagat's resaurant map of Chicago a couple of years ago. I probably paid less than $5 for it on Amazon. I'm sure they would have the same thing for DC. It was a good map that I used for getting around in general.
