Need a Chicago restaurant near Water Tower

We're doing college visits in Chicago. Our tour of Loyola's Water Tower campus will end at about 12:30 pm. Any suggestions for lunch nearby?

There are literally hundreds of restaurants within three blocks ranging from McDonald's and Subway to the dining room at the Ritz-Carlton or the Peninsula.

What's your budget and what are your tastes? Check www.chicagoreader.com or www.metromix.com. You can search by neighborhood, price or cuisine.

You can cross Michigan Ave to Streeterville neighborhood.. Coco Pazzo Cafe on St. Clair, (south of Chicago Avenue) is very good. Or go up Rush St from LUC to Bistro Zinc for some good French bistro fare. Bistro 110 is across the street(Pearson) from Loyola.
There is a Lettuce Entertain You food court on the Mezzanine level in the Water Tower Place shopping center on Michigan Ave.; one of them, Mity Nice Grill has table/waitress service.
Loyola's Watertower campus is in a wonderful location.

Across the street on the 5th floor of the 900 Michigan building are two sit-down restaurants next door to each other:

Frankie's 5th Floor Pizzeria:

Frankie's Scaloppine:

Afterwards, you can grab a chocolate shake from Potbelly -- it's my fave.

Enjoy your trip!

Forgot to say I've eaten at Frankie's Scaloppine, and really liked it!

Thanks everyone. We ended up grabbing something quick at the food court at Water Tower Place because time was short and we wanted to squeeze in some shopping at H&M.

Sounds like you made a good choice. That H&M is very popular with teens.
