Need 3B/3B Lodging on North Shore

I'm beginning to plan a trip to Kauai for June, 2005. There will be 6 of us (3 couples, all adults) and I'm trying to find a condo, townhome, or house for a weekly rental on the North Shore with a view of the ocean. I've looked at websites for all the rental agents listed in the Ultimate Kauai Guidebook and also on the Vacation Rental by Owner (VRBO) website. Has anyone out there stayed in a similiar property and would you recommend it again? As one couple is older and may not be as interested in a lot of strenuous activities, I'm thinking a place with a beautiful ocean view would be nice in case they want to just hang around the house and enjoy the views and weather. Thanks in advance for any tips or advice.

jss5200,
Aloha, I just returned from Kauai. I have no specific suggestions for a particular house, however there are some awesome houses built along Hanalei Bay that would probably satisfy your requirements for views. I sat there for hours just watching the clouds and the bay. There are also some gorgeous places on the beach between Hanalei Colony Resort and Haena Beach Park. We are also considering renting a house next summer either in Hanalei or around Tunnels beach and have found Kauai Vacation Rentals to be good to work with. Have a great time planning.

jss5200,

Since you didn't specify a state or area in you header, I thought you were talking about Lake Tahoe.

There are a number of vacation rental companies I can personally recommend. They offer privately-owned homes and condos:
