Napa/Sonoma Honeymoon
We will be traveling to the Napa/Sonoma area for our honeymoon the end of September and are wondering about a few places to stay. We are torn between several and would like some advice. Between Gaige House, Cottage Grove Inn, Cottage Grove B&B, Glass Mountain, Harvest Inn, or Rancho Caymus what should we choose??? Any advice will be helpful! Thanks!

We have never stayed in a hotel in the Napa Valley. We drive by these places, tourists may know more than some locals! I would suggest a book about the area. A Tale of Two Valleys Wine,Wealth, and the Good Life in Napa and Sonoma. Author-Deutschman. If you have dining questions, please post them! That we could help with!

Hi! We stayed at the Cottage Grove Inn last April. It is in Calistoga...a bit out of the way, but a quaint town. There's still a bit of traffic around the place, but inside the cottages are quiet. They have luxury sheets on beds, VCR, frig/coffee...there's a neat little Market w/gourmet goodies where you can pick up GREAT snacks. They have an afternoon wine/cheese party. It's really romantic- we stayed at the Rose Cottage- the one on their brochures. Not cheap, though! We enjoyed 3 days there, followed by 3 days at Camellia Inn B&B in Sonoma. You might consider that. We loved Healdsburg and wished we had only done 2 days in Napa.
