If you don't recieve a reply on the places you are looking into or are a little skeptical, try the Forest Dunes. We've stayed there many times and have been so very pleased. www.forestdunes.com

Hi Jody, we have stayed at the Sand Dunes resort several times..The staff has always been very friendly and helpful..The Sand Dunes and the Ocean Dunes adjoin..there are 2 full service restaurants..2 lounges(sports bar and live evening entertainment in the other) The pool area is very nice(poolside lunch and bar service..weather permitting)They also have indoor pool...spa..exercise room and a small convenience store/deli and a game room....internet service is available in the patio court adacent to the lobby in the Sand Dunes..you really wouldn't have to leave the property if you didn't want to..convinent drive to Broadway at the beach(great place) the hotel is clean...the beach building at the Sand Dunes is startintg to show it's age a little and the rooms may be a little small for four people...but for the hospitality...great beach and pool..and convience ...I would stay there again..If I can help answer any other questions..just e mail

Thanks Mrs.P for the info.I was curious about the outdoor pool and where it was located,it is hard to tell in the brochures. Is it oceanfront? You also mentioned in another reply about the Sand Dunes that the oceanfront rooms were "ok" which made me a bit nervous. Are they really small, clean??? Is it true you can also use the Ocean Dunes facilities? You felt the beach was real nice???

I also inquired about the Sand Dunes...particularly about the planned waterpark( I have 4 kids)...I also really want clean rooms, nice beach etc. I actually now have reservations at both the Sand Dunes and Kingston Plantation....I am leaning toward KP...it just seems to be more of a sure thing....do you know anything about Kingston Plantation?

Hi again, the pool and lazy river are oceanfront and very nice...the beach was great ..just steps away from the pool...the hotel is Clean...not to worry...as for small..I suppose that is subjective...I would say that the rooms compare to any that you would find at a Fairfield Inn or Hampton Inn...I just wouldn't try to fit a baby's crib in the regular room it might get a bit crowded...Both the Sand Dunes and Ocean Dunes share facilities as you only cross a small parking area to get from one to another....I would consider the new building..I think it's called Baywatch...just opened...the drawback there would be not directly on the beach ,but the building is tall enough for a good view...If you have any other questions feel free to e mail me directly
