But his Taliesen, home and school grounds, is in the area of Spring Green. Investigate a tour of those facilities. Not cheap but interesting if you like FLW.

A couple notes about the previous posts. Madison is a wonderful city -- I've lived and worked here for nearly 30 years. Not sure when in June you're heading to our area, but the Concerts on the Square do not begin until late June. If you're not able to be in Madison on a Saturday for the Farmers' Market around the Capitol square, there is a smaller Farmers' Market on Wednesdays on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. MLK Jr Blvd ends at E Wilson Street and the convention center is directly across the street. Nearly 100 life-sized, artist-decorated cow sculptures are currently placed all over the city until October. They are part of a "Cows on Parade" fundraiser for the American Family Childrens Hospital in Madison. The cows will be auctioned off in October. They are great fun to see--the artists who have decorated them are a very creative group. You may want to check out their website, http://wisconsin.cowparade.com. Regarding Devils Lake...it's a beautiful lake, but the best views are from the bluffs on either side of lake, both of which involve steep uphill hikes. Here's the web address: www.devilslakewisconsin.com. If you come to Madison, you won't lack for things to see & do! Hope you have a wonderful time.

Spend the whole week in Door County. The Dells are a nightmare for anyone w/o children. Door County isn't overly historical but very natural. If you want a city, Madison is great.
