sjde53 - we were very fortunate with all of the wildlife actually. I was telling him we might see sheep in the canyon and were most of the way through it before seeing them, he was seriously doubting their existence until then. I've seen them in the canyon 3 times now and a few times in RMNP. And I saw a pair of coyotes together in the Arsenal Wildlife Refuge along with the one in RMNP, and numerous elk, deer and a few wild turkeys in the national forest.

No worries on the coyote getting close to us (yes, it was definitely a coyote). We were in the car watching it in Moraine Park and it just walked in our direction.
