Ok. Thanks to everyone for helping me in previous posts. I have narrowed my choices down to a Tower Deluxe Lakeview room at the Bellagio or a Petite Suite at the Mirage. Both are about the same price & as it is part of my month long honeymoon, I don't mind spending a little more. We will be there from February 18 - 21 so the rates weren't all that bad.
Any opinions on my choices? Also how far in advance should I book? Is leaving it until Xmas too late??
Thanks in advance!

I think the choice is quite easy. I would definitely go with the Bellagio. It's a much mre elegant hotel than the Mirage. Both hotels are conveniently located on the central strip.

I would advise reserving your hotel as soon as possible. Since there are always conventions in Las Vegas, it's best to boo now before the prices go up. Also,

Oops, pressed reply too early. The other thing I was going to mention is that your honeymoon vacation may be during President's week, which some people have off.

I would recommend Bellagio over the Mirage. Bellagio is newer, nicer and more centrally located.

I recommend booking early. They might still give priority to hotel guests for such things as booking tickets to the show "O" (the name is a play on words -- French "eau" meaning "water"), the permanent Cirque du Solei show using a water stage.

Also, we've enjoyed some memorable evenings at Bellagio's outstanding live music cockail lounge with a terrace with a perfect view of the water fountain show. Priceless.
