The 2007 NYC guide is out? I saw the quotes in the 2006 NYC guide and I thought that just came out a few months ago. But i guess your list is from 2007, because I saw bugswife in NYC 2006 and she is not on your list.

Thanks, starrs.

Yep. It's sitting right here. "New York City 2007".

Are these quotes taken from the board here? Pretty neat.

Yes, we take all of the quotes that appear in the guides from these boards. We editors are always looking around for useful advice for our guides, though the quotes don't all change every year.

All the posts that we use are credited right at the end of the quotation. If you saw something on the inside cover of a book, it's not from these boards.

Wednesday, there are 4-5 quotes are on the first page of each numbered chapter. I have only seen them in the series of books that have 2006 in the titles (and I assume now from Starr's postign here that they also appear int he 2007 fodors series)and not in the other fodor's books that do not have 2006/2007 in the title.

Doug,

Is there a list for posters to join who do not want to be quoted?

And if you leave a will, I can be your executor. Or executioner. Whatever

If Faina is going to be Howard's executioner, then Howard may leave some residuals in his undergarments for his heirs.

Sorry, couldn't resist. ;-)
