Modern, clean Miami Airport hotel ???

Hi there ,
we will need 1 nights accommodation near the airport after our cruise. ( We have an early flight the next day )
Any recommendations for clean, modern hotels?
We are prepared to pay approx. $250 or so . The date is the 10th Jan,
Thanks in advance for suggestions
Donna

Why does it have to be "near" Mia? Are you planning top use an airport hotel shuttle to get to the terminal? Taxis do run all night although they would cost more. You are going to have an entire day and evening to spend in this hotel if you are being kicked off the cruise ship at the typical before noon hour.

I'd find somewhere that offers more than a shuttle to the airport.

I agree with Dukey1 . Personally, If i had a whole day/night I'd stay somewhere "downtown" Miami rather than at the airport since I'd be closer to all the city has to offer.

That said, if you want to stay near the airport just about every major chain hotel has a facility within 1 to 3 miles of the airport. Take your pick: Hilton, Marriott, Embassy Suites, Sheraton, Best Western, Days Inn, Ramada, Hampton Inn & Suites, Holiday Inn Express - you name it's there. There's even a hotel right inside Terminal E just a few steps forth TSA security checkpoint.

We stayed at a nice Crown Plaza at MIA the night before a very early flight to Cuba. It had a restaurant which was good as I wouldn't want to wander around that area at night.
As stated above, I wouldn't stay out there if you have a full day to spend, rather go into Miami, Miami Beach, South Beach.

Hi there,
perhaps I should have mentioned we will be staying in Miami for 5 nights before our cruise and do have an early flight. We will be staying at the Yve hotel.
Thanks for your suggestions

The Sheraton is pretty nice. Not super new, but well-kept and comfortable.

There's a brand new Hyatt Place at the the airport (1 mile away).
It had been open 5 days when we stayed there last week. Paid just over $100 a night on a AAA rate which is good value for the area.

Had previously book the Sheraton but switched when the Hyatt opened.
Good to know that the Sheraton is also a good option (but it was close to double the price for our dates)
