Moab Thanksgiving weekend
I am planning to fly to Denver and drive to Moab and visit Arches, Canyonlands and Capitol reef.
Before I pursue this I had some questions
1. What are the road conditions like during that time? Is it safe to drive around in late Nov, and december first week?
2. If I have time should I squeeze in rocky mountain national park? Or is it more of the same considering that I am visting 3 other parks. How is rocky mt park road conditions wise?
Thanks

njs,
Thanksgiving is possible snow weather in CO and UT. No predicting what the roads might be like. Why fly in to Denver?
SLC or Grand Junction would be better.
With only a 4 day weekend, no you cannot squeeze in RMNP. It's in the opposite direction from Moab.

SLC and DEN will most likely be cheaper. Grand Junction will probably be a little more expensive, but it is closer. There is a nice drive from GJ to Moab. You can fly directly into Moab via Great Lake Airlines aka Great Lakes Aviation. The connection is in Denver. Rocky Mountain NP is totally different than Utah. I doubt you would have much problems with roads in Utah around Moab. You could have problems with roads around Denver or Salt Lake. Of course, even around Moab there would be a slight chance.

this is totally worth doing.
You should probably plan on spending 2-3 days in Arches alone. Hike the entire portion of Devils Garden Trail. Hike to Delicate Arch. If you don't hook up with desert highlights, take a ranger guided tour of Firey Furnace.
When you go to Canyonlands you should also check out Dead Horse Point State Park. If you drive from Salt Lake, check out Goblin Valley State Park. Canyonlands is huge and has 3 districts. Now then if you still have time, plenty to do in Cap Reef.
I would save time and fly directly into Moab unless money is a big issue. Flights may be expensive around a holiday anyway.
If it doesn snow, consider it a wonderful opportunity to see the area, whereas most people don't see it dusted with snow.
