Add Port Gibson - a beautiful little gem on the highway between Vicksburg and Natchez.

University of Mississipi (Ole Miss) is on a beautiful campus in Oxford. Center for the Study of Southern Culture is there. Grisham started there.

vicksburg and natchez. I have a trip report from last wknd in natchez that you can look at. vicksburg is a wonderful town with casinos and one of the most important civil war battle sites.
