Memorial Week-end weather in Clearwater Beach area

Family is headed to FL on Wednesday for a family wedding on Saturday. The forecasts are looking pretty dismal. I was really hoping for SUN! How bad is the forecast for the next few days?

Hot (around 90), near 100% humidity and rain showers every afternoon. Typical Florida summer weather. You will have a breeze off of the beach but its definitely hot.

More recent forecast is for rain over most of the state for at least some amount of time during the day, and all week this week. A low pressure area will be pulling a lot of moisture into the state behind a collapsing cold front. The temps will also be cooler than normal. There's a possibility that by Saturday or Sunday things will clear up.

It's actually not typical summer weather, not yet, and it's not very humid, either, not anywhere close to 100% unless it's actually raining. As Wayne says, this week and into the weekend they are predicting entire days of rain, not the usual afternoon thunder storm and it's over. But, it's way too early to tell--things may indeed clear up a day or two earlier than they're saying now. I'll keep my fingers crossed, too, SuzieTrue, good luck! (If it is any consolation at all, the state desperately needed the rain.)

Today it is actually "chilly" outside by my Florida standards...wet and rainy and only about 70 degrees. This whole week looks wet but hopefully it will clear up for you guys by Wednesday!
