We haven't stayed there but can recommend Searsport Shores (north of Camden). Very quiet, on the ocean, very small, no pool. Most recently we've stayed in Wiscasset (south of Rockport) at Chewonki. Very nice family place on former farm, on saltwater river, nice pool. Only noise is from local small airport (not bothersome). Some of the tent sites are huge which some families like to rent together. Didn't care for multi-hookup sites, more like a small parking lot near the tennis courts so opted for one in the trees with only water and electric. Convenient to Rt 1 and visiting lots of wonderful Maine places. Only problem on Rt 1 is heavy traffic during commuting hours. Easily avoided.

I have never stayed at this campground, sorry. What areas are you looking at and what amenities are you hoping for? I have stayed at numerous campgrounds in Maine so can hopefully give you some insight.
