Does anyone know if this hotel is currently undergoing any renovations, or if it is worn and torn? I'm asking because we're trying to pin down a place to stay and I noticed on Mauna Lani's web-site that they're selling rooms for about half-price (good until 6/2/02) and it almost seemed like too good a deal to be true? So immediately I became suspicious and thought that maybe the hotel was undergoing some renovations.

Haven't you heard -- the economy is DOWN, hence the reduced rates at this time?!? (No Renovations!!)
