rg, I know yo addressed this question to Kelso, but in case he/she doesn't see it, and as I'm a Costco member, I'll try to answer.
No, you can't go to Costco without a card. You can buy a membership at any Costco, but it costs $45 and, unless you're going to be using it a lot, it's probably not worth it.
