Maui for a week March 2016
Good Morning!!!
We will be in Maui for a week starting 19th of next month. On the list of to-dos there is snorkelling at the top! Is it advisable to book in advance or is it ok to wait until we get there? I have read a few reviews and see that Molokini maybe a no-stop based on the tides that day. So if we book in advance there may not be a chance to reschedule?
Any thoughts are appreciated!

I agree with others' opinions about Molokini. We went there with Trilogy in early March two years ago, and the best part of the trip was whale watching out and back. Snorkeling was a bust. We've also been with Trilogy on an excursion to Lanai: https://www.sailtrilogy.com/tour/lanai. Snorkeling conditions weren't great that day either, but we'd go again in a heartbeat. And because of time of year, you're likely to have better snorkeling conditions there than we did.
Best beaches for snorkeling in March are south of Kihei. Check out Ulua, Maluaka, and Ahihi Bay.

Thanks for all your replies..Definitely a different and fresh perspective! Will keep that in mind. We are staying at the Aston Kaanapali but are planning to drive down to Wailea as have heard there are some awesome snorkel spots out there! Will put Ulua, Maluaka, and Ahihi Bay on the list to research also. Thanks,
