marriott or hilton marco island

Cannot decide between the Marriott or the Hilton on Marco Island. Which of the two has nicer rooms?

We stayed at the Marriott 2 years ago and it was very nice. Perfect if you have kids. The Marriott has the nicest pools. We went to the Hilton for drinks. It looked very nice but alot more quiet.

Sally, do a search for Marco Island. I know that when I was looking for rooms a few months ago, it was discussed a few times.

I ended up choosing the Hilton because the rooms were larger, the resort was a bit smaller, and the rates were better. I wasn't about to spend $400 on any Marriott! And they are right down the beach from each other.

My trip is next week, so I guess I may know better afterward!

Hi John,
Just wanted to ask you to post a trip report for Marco & the Hilton.
My husband & I are going (not until November ~ also staying @Hilton), but we would love to hear about the Hilton and your stay. Thanks & have a great time!!
Sally ~ the Marriott is a much larger resort than the Hilton. The Hilton's rooms are bigger and all have balconies. Both hotels use the same beach service for wave runner rentals, etc. They say the Voyager restaurant at the Marriott is decent. You may want to check to see if there is a conference going on at either place while you plan to visit, that might help you decide. Kim
