Marco Island condo rentals...

Just wondering if anyone has ever stayed at the South Seas Towers of Marco Island (condo complex).

Questions I have are general, ie., are the buildings in good shape? Grounds nice? Pool clean? Close to restaurants, shopping, hotels, etc?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thnaks.

We rented at South Seas a few times. It was OK. Condos are individually owned, so some have been done over and some haven't. There are pay w&d's off each corridor. Bldgs. are huge highrises. Views are great and not-so-great meaning that, while you have a great view of the beach, some condos better than others, you also have a view of many, many other balconies and they of you. Bldgs. are in a Y shape. Sound can also be a problem when many condos are occupied as the bldg. shape creates almost an echo effect. They are right on the beach. Pool and grounds are well maintained. Everything in Marco is a very short drive from there.

Many listed for rent on www.vrbo.com as well as other prperties.

Thanks Jacqueline1212!

You say that things are within driving distance - is there anything within reasonable walking distance?

How about supermarkets - any good ones close by? (Publix, etc.)

Thanks

Hi, jamierin. I'll answer that last one. No, not much in walking distance which is true of Marco. It's pretty spread out. I'm assuming you'll have a car? Most of the shopping including Publix is pretty much in the center of the island, not along the beach where the high rise condos and hotels are.
