March weather in Santa Barbara
Hi all -- my husband and I have a week off in early March of next year. We are thinking of doing some driving up and down the CA coast with a base in Santa Barbara.
What is the weather this time of year? I guess swimming is out (except in a heated pool) but is it generally cool and sunny this time of year or will it be one rainy day after another. Thank you all for your replies. PLEASE say it will be sunny and dry

March is still the tail end of the rainy season (such as it is), so there is definitely potential for rain. I'd think you have about 70% chance of sunny weather 60s-70s, 20% chance of 1 or 2 rainy days out of 7. There is the 10% (probably less) chance that you could hit a series of storms and get a sunny-cloudy-rainy-cloudy-sunny ... sequence.
