I think you're going to lose all your money at gas stations. I'm surprised it's only a 5 hour trip to Foxwoods but it will be a very boring drive. Do-able in one overnight, though. You have 5 days left. Portland ME is 2 hours from Bangor. Take the scenic cruise to look at lighthouses. Also visit the one in Fort Williams Park. Google a list of lighthouses for Maine to see how many you can fit in. I think the one at Pemaquid Point near Damariscotta is one of the prettiest. IMO neither Foxwoods nor Mohegan Sun are worth the drive from Maine, unless there's an act you want to catch. Seen one casino, you've seen 'em all. Better to stay north of Boston.
