Magnetic map of the U.S. -- anyone know where I can get one?

I know the question is not exactly a travel question, but, in my travels, I've collected the state magnets that are found in souvenier shops. It is my goal to be able to 'fill' the map with the states we've been to. I now have about half the states, but cannot find the map sold anywhere. Does anyone have an idea where this might be found. I've checked on a few online sites, but have had no luck.

Have you tried the RV-oriented markets like campingworld.com?

Lois, I think this is the site that you want. I was interested in the same thing for my nephew. They mention the magnetic map that fits the magnets, but do not show it on the page. Perhaps if you call their number they can get it for you.

In case you don't find one, they make magnetic wall paint now. You can pick where you want to hang a regular paper map, paint the space underneath it with magenetic paint and you have a "magnetic map".

Try your local parent/teacher store. They usually carry all types of maps.

Thanks to all, for your suggestions. I will check them all out. I was dismayed when trying to search online, that I hadn't been able to come up with anything. This gives me new hope!
