M&M World, Las Vegas

Can anyone tell me about M&M World. My sons favorite candy is M&M. And since I AM bringing him to Las Vegas, I was wondering what type place it is, and what you do there.
Is it a glorified store, a museum of sorts, a candy factory, ... ?

Thanks

It's a glorified store, but a fun glorified store. Your son will love it

In addition to a lot of fun merchandise, they have a huge wall of bins of M&M's in about 30 different colors. You can make your own bag using any combination of the color you want

It's a 3-story building filled with all things M&M. In addition to the obvious, they have tons of M&M paraphenalia. I only made it through the first and second floors before my husband insisted that we move on!

Love that place! More color M & M's then I could list, but I will start with teal, gold, grey, black, maroon, pink, purple. Dispensers and school supplies with the logos, stuff for their rooms, etc., etc. But be prepared, it is $$$$$over the top. I think it is about 8 bucks for a pound or so of M & M's. Adjoining the M & M World is the Coke Store (same shtick) with a rock climbing wall in the middle.

It's a great store, but just be prepared for how crowded it is all the time. That store must draw more people than any other store in Vegas.

The place with the climbing wall was Gameworks, next door to the Coke place. It was a lot of fun, a good escape from the casinos!

I loved visiting M&M World and it gave me a great new idea for justifying my grandiose expense budget and salary. I love those colors and keep a bowl of M&Ms on my desk all the time!

The M&M World Store is right next to the MGM Grand, in front of the Montecarlo

There is also a short 3-D movie featuring the M&M characters. It was cute. My son who was 10 enjoyed it.

I don't usually buy M&M's at home but when I go to Vegas, I always stop at the M&M store. I just love the color variety of m&m's, plain and peanut.
