Lunch on the Mag Mile
Considering a visit to the new Garmin store on the Mag Mile. The address is 663 N Michigan Ave.
Anyone have any suggestions for a casual lunch place (no chains please) that is a short walk away?
Thanks!!

My all-time favorite place for lunch on the mag mile is RL located in the Ralph Lauren store. Their specialty is the lobster club sandwich which is delicious. Everything we have tried is excellent. It is located very close to where you will be. We tried to visit it yesterday and it was closed for renovations so we tried Bandera which was also very good. Bandera is south of RL a few blocks. Enjoy!

We LITERALLY just got back from our very first trip to Chicago. We spent 3 days there and ate twice at the Grand Lux Cafe which we thought was fantastic AND pretty reasonable. Hubby fell in love with their short ribs and their baked to order apple pie is downright delicious!!! They are open for both lunch and dinner and are not far from the Garmin store. ... I don't know their exact address but we stayed on 676 N. Michigan Ave and it was only 2 and a half blocks away.
Happy dining!

Thanks for your responses. Actually we just ending up getting a room at the Embassy Suites on State Street through Priceline at the sweet rate of $52, had dinner at Ruth Chris's Steakhouse last night, and then shopped on Michigan Avenue (including Garmin and Garrett's) this morning before heading home.
Is Chicago a great town or what?!?!?!
