We are going to NYC and would love to walk the high line ending in met packing area...lunch? We want to see Whitney---a good restaurant there?

Yes. Untitled inside the Whitney.

Other option could be Santina, or Perry Street:

Perry St | Jean-Georges Restaurants New York

Or could go to Chelsea Market and graze. Lots of good eating options inside.

Those are all solid choices, although I found the food at Untitled to be rather disappointing and would put that one at the bottom of the list. But it's convenient. If the weather's nice, stroll over to The Loyal.

We found Untitled an excellent choice. Also The Standadrd Grill, the street side bisteo, in the Standard Hotel.
A little farther north just off the Highline @20th Street and 10th Ave, Cookshop is also excellent.

I've only had brunch at Cookshop and it was excellent!

Cookshop always hard to get a reservation
Red Cat
Santina's, horrible reservation penalty
Bubbe's
For something good but different Coppelia's

And for an old style no frills NY diner Hector's-which is under the high line, more atmosphere than great food.
