Luggage storage in Seattle

Does anyone know if the Amtrak station has luggage lockers? We may need to store our luggage for the day after checking out of a hotel. Any other ideas? Do car rental lots ever let you store your luggage if you will be renting a car later that day? Would it be safe? Thanks

To find out what's available in any Amtrak Station
1) go to www.Amtrak.com
2) click on the /Station\ Tab
pull-down menu appears
3) select the region in which your station is located
4) select the station you are interested in
5) if interested in baggage storage, click on "Checked Baggage Hours"

This URL is for Seattle:

Or you can do an internet search for the topic
amtrak "station I'm interested in" storage

Why not just ask the hotel you're checking out of to hold your luggage for you?

I agree, if you are staying in downtown Seattle, just keeping it at the hotel you've just checked out of would be the easiest & safest.

I found out that Amtrak hasn't had lockers since 9/11. They will only check luggage for passengers.
Ken's Luggage Storage is located right in SEA around the baggage carousels.
But my hotel the Seatac Inn will let me store it for the day for free.
Thanks everyone for the ideas.
