Great trip report - and glad you hung in there with the snorkeling. Have wanted to take the ride out to Molokini and do the snorkeling - but hear it can get a bit crowded out there?
And good info about Snorkel Bob's having some prescription masks. I used to wear my contacts - but don't anymore - so if I could get a prescription mask something close to mine - it would be great. I see fine up close - just not quite as good at distance.
And visiting the Hana waterfalls reminds me of a friend - who likes to go over and rapel/climb up waterfalls. Go Figure.

Tomsd, I have rented Rx masks from Snorkel Bobs, they even have them with a different prescription for each eye (including my 'blind as a bat' 8.5.
We also stayed at Grand Champions Villas a few years back. It was great, with a decent rate (by Maui standards).
Hope to do it again next winter!
