Los Angeles Union Station Shuttle Service?
I will be taking a trip to So Cal this fall and will be arriving by train in Los Angeles and staying in Monrovia. I know that shuttle service is available to hotels from LAX, but does anyone know of any shuttle companies that will make an exception and pick up a passenger from Union Station? I'll take a taxi if I need to, but I generally don't like dealing with cabs.

A taxi cab to Monrovia from Union Station will be very expensive. You mention that your trip is not until the fall. The Metro rail Gold line should be open by then. You will be able to take it from Union Station to its terminus (at least for the time being) in east Pasadena. That last stop in Pasadena is not far from Monrovia. Since the Gold Line is not yet open, I can't tell you what the cab situation at the station will be like then, but this being L.A., it is unlikely that there will be cabs waiting at a cabstand. Perhaps someone can pick you up there, or you can call a cab company when you get off the Gold Line.

Thank you both.
I didn't know about the Gold Line. Thanks for the heads up. I would definitely do that, but considering that I will have luggage, I'd just like to make it a one shot trip. However, I do need to get back to Union Station the next day for my day trip down to San Diego and I'll definitely utilize that option then.
I called Super Shuttle and they do serve Union Station. They're about $5 more than I estimated a taxi costing, but at least it's a set fee and not determined by a meter and traffic conditions.
