Looking for recommendations for B&B in Savannah

Would appreciate your thoughts and recommendations on a B&B (or, really, any type of accommodation) in Savannah, GA. General requirements:

Price range: About $200/night for two.
Location: Central -- walkable to most spots.

Other than that, we're open.

Thanks.

The Ballastone Inn (www.ballastone.com) on East Oglethorpe is lovely, and in a great walk-to-everything location. Their rooms start in the mid $200's.

While staying there we walked to the Olde Pink House for dinner. It was fabulous.

I second the Ballastone. I just made reservations there for April.
I haven't been there yet, but have done extensive research and this one is a winner.

Thanks. Would also like to hear about any other accommodations, too.

My friend and I are going to be in Savannah for 4 nights in March.

We have rented this apartment for $109 per night plus a $50 cleaning fee.

The owner was very quick to respond to emails and it seems to get good reviews.

I was going to suggest Magnolia Place Inn, right at Forsyth Park, but in looking for their website I learned that the inn has closed. Too bad, I really enjoyed a stay there a few years ago. And I second the suggestion for a dinner at Olde Pink House. Having made frequent trips to Savannah during my childhood to visit grandparents, as an adult I finally decided to visit as a tourist -- stay in a nice place and go out to a nice dinner! Made me see the city in a whole new light.

At the time, we were also considering the Hamilton Turner Inn and The Gastonian, though I can't provide any insights into or recommendations for these two properties. Sorry I can't offer any specific help, but good luck with your search!

Not sure if this is too late or not but we loved the Hamilton-Turner Inn and the Marshall House. Both are within walking distance to everything. Also, loved the Olde Pink House for dinner...
