Looking for good restaurant in Phoenix for Thanksgiving dinner

Our family will be converging on my 80 year old mother-in-law's house for Thanksgiving this year as she is finding it more and more difficult to travel and she just isn't up to having everyone at her house, even if we do all the cooking and cleaning up. There will be 12 of us, and we'd like someplace fairly nice. I'm not too sure about a buffet style dinner, altho I wouldn't rule it out. I appreciate any recommendations! Thanks

I would imagine that like everywhere else, all the hotels will be serving Thanksgiving dinner, with several seatings offered. We had a wonderful buffet breakfast at the Marriott Camelback last summer.

Well, you can't beat the view at Camelback. If they are having a buffet, it should be great

Hello JanetB,
"Any recommendations."
Last Thanksgiving we celebrated the holiday at ~Lon's Hermosa Inn,~located at the base of Camelback Mtn. Wonderful southwestern setting. Can be seated outdoors or inside in various rooms. We were NOT disappointed.
Take a peek ... http://www.lons.com/
Regards, Francie

I was also going to recommend Camelback Inn's buffet. Since we live here, we have not been, but many of our friends think it solves their holiday eating problems. Actually, any of the resorts are probably pretty darn good at that type of meal...Arizona Biltmore, Hilton Pointe Tapatio, Hermosa Inn are just a few...For over 70 years, our family has eaten outside, never any rain, a few cold times, but usually perfect weather for levis or shorts at South Mountain Park ramadas.
