We will be Las Vegas over Mother's Day and would like to go somewhere special for brunch.
Any recommendations?

I should clarify that we are not crazy about buffets, so would like somewhere like Bouchon. If there's a high end amazing buffet spot, we might consider it.

Bally's Sterling Brunch.

Bellagio's buffet

My vote goes to Paris.

Bellagio. Well worth the wait.

The brunch lised above are all good. But IMOP- madgirl is correct in suggesting Bally's Sterling Brunch. It has huge and unique selection of foods. It is an outstanding brunch. I am sure a lot of people would consider it the best brunch of all time. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I have been to Bally's brunch and it is fantastic....there are so many choices that everyone should find what they like.....and more!

In our experience, the best buffet in general for breakfast or lunch is Wynns. (We not been there for supper.) Fresh ingredients, beautiful setting, definitely quieter than Bellagio, easy to access the different food areas, good table service. I've not done the Sterling Brunch at Ballys just because of the price, and because I rank Bally's buffet as good but not great. We like the Bally's Big Kitchen buffet mainly because it's small, relatively quiet, and convenient to where we usually stay.

My recommendation would be Bouchon. One of the finest (dinner) dining experiences we've ever enjoyed anywhere.

We have been to both Bouchon and Paris. For choice and quality Paris wins. For ambiance and "civility" Bouchon wins....We did eat a Bellagio buffet brunch and while it was fine, I would not return. IMO, Paris is far superior. I cannot speak on the other suggestions.

If you really do not like buffets, then don't go to one, but for me, Paris is as "high end" as buffets get, b/c of the incredible quality of the food. I really had dishes there that reminded me of being in France.

I would recommend the buffet at the Wynn. Absolutely fantastic and the setting is lovely.

I always thought the breakfast buffet at Paris was the best in Las Vegas, until I experienced The Wynn.

We didn't do Balley so I cannot compare but the Wynn was a gorgeous setting, and the Bellagio was to my favorite. I am not at all a fan of buffets and I was even impressed. I would go again to the Bellagio in a heartbeat. The desserts were out of this world. It was on a sat night and I believe it was there "gourmet" night. The crab legs are peeled. No fighting with them and cracking the shell. (way to much work for me.)
