Long weekend in the "keys"

My husband and I have planned a trip to the keys April 19-23. We are planning on staying on Key West for the first 2 nights and on Key Largo the following 2. The last night we left open.
We are looking to do a lot of relaxing but would also like to try out snorkeling and some other water sports. Would anyone have a recomendation on whether to do these kinds of thinks out of Key West or Key Largo?
Also we are staying at the Pier House on Key West and at the Westin on Key Largo any feedback on these property's also would be great!

The Pier House is in a great location, but you need to be specific about the location of your room, as many overlook the parking lot. If you want to snorkel in Key West, I'd recommend Floridays...they dock next door to the Pier House at the Hyatt.

I topped some psots for you about The Pier House and other hotels in Key West. There is a good deal of information on them.

You should stay at the Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada for your last night. Talking about RELAXING and pur luxury. Make sure you request an oceanfront view...it is well worth it. The palm trees will sway right up against your balancy.

We layed one night on the beach chairs and actually fell asleep.
