Long Weekend in Palm Desert

My wife and Ii will be taking advantage of the Marriott Time Share preview in a couple weeks from now, and need some suggestions for the following:

1) 3 great dinners
2) A couple great places for a martini
3) A great Sunday Brunch
4) A great couples massage

Looks like the spa at the JW Marriott Desert Springs resort might be a good place for the massage, but open to going elsewhere.

Thanks for your help!

It's hard to recommend something without knowing your likes and dislikes. Or if you want romance or just want great food without much care for ambiance....but I'll try....

For excellent food in an informal setting, I highly recommend Native Foods in nearby Palm Desert. The recipies are unbelievable. So delicious. The owner even has a cookbook for sale. It's totally vegan, but it's prepared so deliciously different. Most of the produce is organic. If you're a meat eater, any of their dishes like their "soy amigo" salad taste just like a scrumptious taco salad. You can get organic beer or wine by the glass.

Some of my favorites are the "Awesome threesome", "Tijuana tacos", "Ensalada Azteca", "Malibu vege burger", "Iron yam" and any "Special of the day". They have a second location in Palm Springs and two in the LA area.

Definitely make dinner reservations. Busy time of the year.

Restaurants abound on El Paseo in Palm Desert. If you like fish, either Pacifica or Big Fish. Several upscale chain steak houses: Ruth Chris, Sullivans, LG's, The Falls (in La Quinta). French? Cuistot. If you don't mind eating early, lots of "early bird" dinners even at the nice places. Pacifica's is quite good. Martinis? Pacifica serves something like 100 vodkas, The Falls puts dry ice in theirs for a gimmicky effect.
