Long Weekend in NO
Hello all-
My bf and I are thinking about flying down to NO for a long weekend in March. We have absolutely no clue on where to go, where to stay, where to eat...I think you get the pic! Any advice? Thanks in advance!!

We just did a long weekend in NO-- not our first trip there. Have u been b4? What do you like to do? What types of food and what is your budget?
U might start by doing a search here and see what people do and what people recommend. They may give u some ideas.

Thank you for your responses! We are not on a tight budget, when my bf and I go on vaca, we usually like to stay at 31/2 to 4 star hotels. We love all kinds of food. Def want to go to a nice Jazz lounge/restaurant one night. Also want to see the major sites, possibly a swamp tour?

Click on my name and u can find a short trip report of our recent weekend in NO. Other visits we've had brunch at Commanders Palace which was good. Bayona is also good for lunch or dinner. This trip had wanted to eat at MiLa and Stella's but there is only so much u can fit in. There are really so many good restaurants in NO its very hard to pick the few u get to eat in during a short weekend. We live in a big city and have access to good food, so we're always interested in focusing on NO style food which is part of the reason we didn't got to MiLa or Stella's. They seemed less geared towards NO food. Have fun!
