Leesburg VA area restaurants
Hi NoVa Fodorites, we'll be attending a wedding in Leesburg on Sunday but going up the day before. I thought we might tour a winery and then do dinner. I'm also thinking that brunch and a wander around Middleburg Sunday morning would be nice. There will be six of us. Any recommendations for any of those three: winery, dinner, brunch?

For dinner in Leesburg, I love Leesburg Public House, Lightfoot, Señor Ramon's, Fireworks, and Tuscarora Mill. Just depends on what your after. Tuskie's and Lightfoot are more high end, LPH and Fireworks are mid-range and Señor Ramon's is an awesome taqueria.

Leave yourself time to take a stroll around downtown Leesburg too - it's really nice.
In Middlesburg, the Red Fox Inn & Tavern is good (not great, but good, and a historic building). The two restaurants (one fine dining and one bar) at the Salamander Resort (a 10-minute walk from downtown) are very good.

Thank you for the recommendations, Hobbert and sf7307. We had dinner at Tuskies and brunch at the Salamander. Both were very good. We didn't have time to visit a winery or walk around Leesburg so both will have to wait for a return trip. We were so impressed with the Salamander, that we decided to go back up and book a stay there soon. The wedding was held out at Riverside on the Potomac. It was gorgeous! If anyone is looking, I'd highly recommend it as a venue.
