Thought I would post this information of our weekend visit.
We stayed at the Icicle Inn. We got their "stay and play" package. I highly suggest it for those who might stay here with their kids. The hotel has the Icicle Junction on site and it has a mini-golf course, bumper boats, train rides, video game center, movie theater, R/C cars, pool tables and some outdoor kiddie rides. The golf, boats, and train rides are covered under the stay and play package. Our 15 year old probably played 6 to 8 rounds each day and at their cost of $5.50 a round, going stay and play easily paid for itself. The stay and play package add's $30 to your room rate for a family of four. We had their family room, 2 queens and a pull out couch, and the room was comfy and cozy and very clean. The beds and pillows were comfy too. They include a European Breakfast which is nice but they need to add a few more things cause they are geared for families yet their food is geared more towards adults. And there isn't much food to constitute a breakfast, IMO. They don't allow smoking in any room but have "smoking stations" outside. Very nice hotel for families in a beautiful town. If anyone has any questions please post here and I'll reply. Have a nice day.

Thomas, for future reference, selecting a state from the list in the scroll box when you post has absolutely no bearing on how or where your post shows up; regardless, it goes into the US forum. No one has any way of knowing it's in Washington if you don't say so, and because the word Washington is not in your post, your post also will not show up in any search for Washington destinations. I wish Fodor's would post this info on the site here, because an awful lot of people seem to be under the mistaken impression that there are separately sorted state forums.
