Laughlin hotels

Looking for recent experiences/ opinions with Laughlin hotels. I've checked Trip Advisor, and am leaning towards the Edgewater or Colorado Belle. this would be for 2 nights just after Christmas. Thanks!

I've stayed at most properties and have found the Riverside, the Flamingo, and Harrahs to be the most accomodating. The quality of the hotels in Laughlin are mostly equal accross the board.

I agree. They are all about the same level and services. I liked the Riverside the most, but have no been to any for about 3 years now.

They have great comps in Laughlin, so if you are going to gamble at all get the casino's slot or table gambling cards. I think Riverside's had an excellent steak dinner in the better restaurant upon getting a card.

Hi trippinkpj..
I have only been once and that was a couple of years ago and it was Harrah's..ask for the newer tower..Riverside and Flamingo was fun to gamble in and looked fine to stay at as well..
The steakhouse was really good at Harrah's..
You are such a sweetheart here on Fodors and I hope you have a fun time and win lots of money!!

I heard that the Aquarius/Flamingo has a nice new lounge area that opens up onto the riverfront. Since they're just re-opening now...they're probably trying real hard to please...if you stay there please let us know how it goes.

I don't know what "soon" means for you but be aware, the annual Laughlin River Run will be held this coming weekend (April 26-29). The town will be jammed with over 70,000 motorcycles and all the hangers-on that attend huge bike rallys. It may be very difficult to find a hotel room if you don't already have a reservation and there will be long lines for everything along with heavy traffic.

I stayed in a suite a Harrah's about a month ago on the return trip from the Grand Canyon. I wasn't too impressed, even though they claimed it had just been remodeled.

For my money, I would stay in one of the newly remodeled rooms at the Ramada Express.
