late june in vail/beavercreek

We will be staying in Avon for ten days in late June. We are wondering what would be some fun things for two families of four traveling together to do. Our kids, all girls, range in age from 10 to 15.
Thanks,
Michael

Eat in Minturn at Chili Willi's, quaint local mexican restaurant. Good margaritas, good mexican food and a fun place. We go every year when we ski.

Horse back riding. Ride the lift in Beaver Creek or the Gondola at Vail and hike down. Ice Skating at outdoor rink in Beaver Creek or indoors in Vail at Dobson Arena. Drive to Breckenridge for the day and ride the Alpine Slide. Take a river raft trip. Rent bikes and/or scooters in Vail and ride around in Vail Village and Lionshead. Great hikes and several hiking guides to choose from. On Saturday morning, go to the Farmer's Market in Minturn and buy something different to have for dinner. Use to have free Gondola rides in Vail on Saturday night and/or free concerts. Go see Betty Ford Gardens in Vail. Drive to Glenwood Springs and go to the hot springs. If it's a rainy day, take the kids to the Avon indoor pool.

Paige gaves lots of GREAT ideas. I will add go to Dillon Marina rent a pontoon boat for a few hours on lake Dillon. Beautiful! You can eat at the Tiki Bar, not really a bar just tables outside with a BBQ going. Or some of the pontoon boats have grills attached.

Lots of stuff to do, belive me even with 10 days you will not get bored.

There is also Golf, Tennis a great Spa at the Cascade in Vail, nice if we ever get a rainy day.
