Last-Minute w/ Pleasant Hawaiian?

Has anyone had any experiences booking last minute (less than a week in advance)
packages w/ Pleasant Hawaiian? How do the rates compare with the regular ones?
Is it possible to get non-stop flights both ways from JFK, LGA or EWR (NYC area
airports) ?

Also, how are the rates for people travelling alone?

I plan to ask Pleasant these questions but it would be good to hear some actual
experiences.

Thank you for any info.

We didn't, after all, book with them but they definitely had great prices. Sounded like they really had nice service and perks, but we were too freaked out when we found out they had VERY old planes that the had bought and re-habbed (like so many budget or start-up airlines do), so we changed our minds and booked on American, and paid more for it, as well.

BOOKED WITH PLEASANT HAWAIIAN LAST YEAR.THIS IS THE FIRST I HEARD ABOUT THEM HAVING THERE OWN PLANES. THEY FLEW US FROM PHL TO LA. WHERE I HAD TO STAY OVER NIGHT ON BUSINESS. THEN FLEW US TO OAHU AND BACK. BOTH TIMES WE FLEW ON UNITED AIRLINES. I ACTUALLY TOLD THEM WHAT FLIGHTS I WANTED. IF THEY HAVE BROUGHT THE SEATS FROM THAT ARILINE YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM. I BOOKED EIGHT MONTHS IN ADVANCE SO I DON'T KNOW ABOUT LAST MINUTE DEALS. I ENJOYED THERE SERVICE.I WAS GOING TO USE IT THS YEAR BUT USED LIBERTY TRAVEL AND HILTON VACATION CLUB. TWO SEPERATE PACKAGES. LIBERTY FOR AIR AND MAUI(KEA LANI) AND HILTON VACATION CLUB FOR OAHU. ABOUT THE SAME PRICE .I JUST KNOW LIBERTY WILL WORK WITH ME IF PRICES ARE LOWERED FOR THE FLIGHTS. SORRY I'M TOO LATE FOR YOUR TRAVELS.

Thank you for the replies.

Pleasant charters planes. The flights from JFK in NY are on ATA.

I actually wasn't ready to book anything when I made this post, it's just that things are very up in the air for me and it seemed like there was a chance that I might have an opportunity to pick up and go to HI at the drop off a hat. Now it seems unlikely that it will be practical for me to book a package.

There is a chance I will still go toward the end of this coming April and if not, then perhaps in November or early December but I won't know for at least another two weeks or so.

For now, I am getting as much info. as I can to be prepared whenever it is that I finally do go.

I have found some Aston, Marc and Castle properties that look like appealing to me on Kaua`i, O`ahu and possibly Big Island and I am hoping to be able to get the Entertainment discount with them. Otherwise, many of them would be above my price range since I need a kitchen and either 2 bedroom/2 bath or 2 separate units b/c I will probably go with my parents.

Does anyone have any idea how much availablity there will still be in 2-3 weeks from now for the period of April 17- May 9 ?

Thanks again.

Folks:

Just a bit of "netiquette. . ." ALL CAPS is the equivalent of YELLING at somebody in person. Plus, it's just too hard to read! ;-)
