Las Vegas Siteseeing

Interested in seeing hotel displays and entertainment in the daytime. Fun restaurants to amuse two teens.

Just visited Vegas for the first time this summer. It was such a big place we went back for a second time. There is so much to see at all the hotels it is impossible to see everything in one visit. The most memorable places for myself was the Venetian, Paris, Caesars, and Treasure Island (their show outside in front). We stayed at the Luxor the first time and the Excalibur the second time, both are very nice places. The Excalibur has a dinner and show called the Tournament of Kings, which was great, we saw it both times we visited. They also have an arcade which is downstairs below the casino. And the Luxor has a show called Blue Man Group. My 13 year old enjoyed them both. During the daytime we mostly did sightseeing. New York has a fantastic roller coaster. MGM Grand has a Theme Park inside. If they like swimming with a twist, there is a water park with slides on the north end of the strip. There is also an arcade of some sort below the M & M / Coca Cola buildings which are located near the MGM Grand. There are lots of shopping mall in a lot of the casinos. Caesars, The Venetian and the MGM Grand stand out the most. The New Aladdin Casino open after we were there but I have heard from people that it is really nice. If you need to know anything else just ask.

Hi Roseann,
I am going to Las Vegas early Nov and will stay at Luxor and Mirage. Any advice/tips on Luxor?
Also, on average how long does it take to visit a hotel you mentioned (exclude the casino) and MGM Showmall (M&M and Coca Cola buildings? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. We are staying at Paris, any restaurant recommendations with reasonable prices. Does anyone know how to get tickets to the Bellagio Art Gallery?

The art gallery at the Bellagio is closed. MGM-Mirage resorts, the new owners, have sold off the art work (probably to finance the deal).

Spending 2 nites at Flamingo Hilton Nov. 29, travelling to Death Valley Nat'l Park for 2 nites and back to LV for 2 nites at Mandalay Bay. Any suggestions as to best buffets or moderate restaurants for dinner while in Vegas. Also have reservations for Clint Holmes Show at Harrah's. Any Comments? Thanks for your help.
