Las Vegas - "O" Show

We'll be visiting Las Vegas early June 2006 and planning to see "O" by Cirque du Soleil.

How far in advance is it recommended to make reservations? Which sites are recommended to buy our tickets? Does the price vary during the year and is June more expensive than other months?

Thank you

We saw concierge at Aladdin 3 days before seeing O. Price the same as purchasing at show. Tipped him $2o for great seats.

If you have reservations at Bellagio, you can call concierge services and they will make the reservations for you. The nice thing about doing it this way is that if you decide to cancel "O" you will not be charged. My suggestion is to sign up for hotel email specials from Bellagio and wait for them to notify you. We booked a deluxe lakeview room at $149 per night for January. (Of course, I don't know what the rates will be for June.) Book at the special rate and then book "O" as well with the concierge.

I will be going to the show on September 28, however I am not sure if I should buy orchestra or balcony seats?? The difference is $30 per seat * 5 seats...so $150 difference.....any thoughts...I could get row BB for balcony in section 304

We booked second row on the balcony for 'O' based on opinions here. We'll see on August 24 when we go. I believe that the savings was more like $40 to $50 a ticket, right?

ok so you researched it and people said balcony was ok? from 100 level orchestra, savings is more...but from 200 level, I believe it is around $30 per ticket.

I've always booked cirque tickets through their website -- you can see how far ahead they're releasing them and where the seats are. It's a great show -- don't be afraid to give yourself some space from the front as a bit of perspective seems to help.

Hi.
You won't be able to see the drops of water dripping off the performers, but you will get a good view of the big picture. There are a lot of numbers where I think seeing it from further back helps. I have only seen it from the front row (which was nice) but I lost some of the overall effect of the staging.
