To everyone who's interested, I signed up for email notifications a while back on the lvmonorail.com site. Just got an email today that they'll be opening on July 15. Let's hope they can make the date this time!! Too bad it wasn't open for my trip earlier this month, but I guess $5.00 for a 24 hour bus pass wasn't so bad.

I know for sure that it stops at Sands, Flamingo, Ballys and MGM. There may be another stop or 2, perhaps Alladin.

Stayed at the LV Hilton over the weekend. It goes right by there because it has to stop at the LV Convention Ctr right down the street from the Hilton. The monorails (appeared to be 3 different ones) were running ALL weekend... passengerless. I guess they are testing them A LOT!

Glad to hear they are finally getting it done because my friend heard on the news while she was there that the contractors are paying $85000/day fine because the project is past due on completion. YIKES!
