hi, I'm going to Las Vegas next week and would love some help choosing a nice hotel. I would like to stay at one of the best hotel in Vegas. I'm looking at Ceasar's Palace, Bellagio, The Four Seasons etc. Can anyone recommend a great hotel. The prices seem to be really reasonable at the moment. Thanks, M

All you mentioned are excellent. Mandalay Bay, Venetian & Wynn get high marks also.

I would narrow it down to Wynn, Bellagio, and maybe Caesar's palace.

I would narrow it down to those 3 of the ones you mentioned, but not because of hotel quality, because of location. I'm not a Las Vegas fan, but when I go, I want to be staying mid-strip, so walking from place to place is relatively easy.

I would eliminate Mandalay Bay from the list.... I felt like herded cattle at their pool on my last stay there. And, as sf mentions, the location is ideal for the other 3.

Best of the best - Wynn or Encore.

At Caesar's or Bellagio, room could be a long hike to the strip in a greatly in need of reburbishing room with indifferent to dreadful service throughout.

You may also want to consider Paris - we love that place in every way!

thanks. Which has the nicest rooms? My mum stayed at The Venetian last year and said the rooms are fantastic. Are the rooms at Bellagio and Caesar's as good?

It really depends on several factors - Do you like to gamble ? I don't believe the Four Seasons has a casino. Ceasars has the best sports book on the Strip. Have you been there (Las Vegas)before ? If so, location may not be as big a priority, I like The Hotel @ MB. Pool important ? Shopping ? & finally, from a cost perspective, how much time are you really going to spend in your room ? Just a few items that may help you decide.

New is key in Vegas!
Wynn or Encore are some of the finest rooms on the strip and they are a gorgeous 5* room!
Deals are going for around $109 a night..

I tend to worry more about comps & deals versus 'new' or location. It really depends on what you are going out there for... I need a room to sleep in, bottom line. I'm rarely in there anyway.

I won't be gambling. I would like a hotel with a fantastic room and great pool. Also, would like to be mid strip where there is a bit of action. I've only ever been once to Vegas and that was 11 years ago. I stayed at The Riviera which I really didn't like. I don't like the hotels that make you line up like cattle to check in. Do any of the above hotels do that?

Only the Four Seasons will treat you like a valued guest.

Four Seasons - No doubt

Exclusive, quiet, hotel within a hotel, no resort charges, everything is included even a free car service within 3 mile radius. Free use of the wonderful Mandalay Hotel pool, lazy river, wave pool, etc...

Just few minutes from all the action, yet, an oasis, a paradise, in the midst of craziness...
