Lake Crescent area Day Hikes
Aloha:
My wife and i will be at Lake crescent 2 nights in early October
We love to day hike, have a 6 month old with us and are staying at the lodge.
Any favorite day hikes to recommend given how many choices there are?
Thanks!

Marymere Falls, for sure, and I also really like the Spruce Railroad trail over on the north side of the lake.
If you're planning to drive out to the Hoh Rainforest, both the Hall of Mosses and the Spruce nature trail are worth doing (they take about an hour to do both, although with a little one on your back, maybe a little longer). If you come out this way, you should also drive west from Forks to Rialto Beach to at least get a glimpse of the wild Pacific coast.
If you don't want to drive out that far, the Sol Duc falls trail (the entrance is just past the western end of Lk Crescent) will give you a taste of rainforest, although I prefer the Hoh.
